This year we had Pilgrims and Indians join us for Thanksgiving dinner! We wanted to teach the kids about the first Thanksgiving, so they helped make the feather head bands, and I made the (extremely authentic, as you can see) costumes! It was a lot of fun!

Well, I must say you did a thoroughly creative job!! Brennen looks like a genuine little pilgrim boy in the photo of you all at the table. I especially love your dad's hat!! :)
You guys are too funny! I would love to have seen ma and pa cooke driving down the road to thanksgiving dinner!
CLASSIC!!
I love it! I noticed that Chief Cooke married outside his "tribe". Perhaps that was the beginning of mixed marriages. We had turkey hats but one lost it's head before we arrived at our dinner, then we left them all in the car as we dashed to the house in the rain. Oh well, it was a good craft to keep Sadie busy on Thanksgiving morn. Thanks for sharing the wonderful pictures and making such a good memory for your family. Love you guys. Jan
