Name Poll

We still have no boy name for little Spud! I found a naming website with a poll you can vote on, and I put on all the names I sort of liked. Actually the top 4 boy names I really like (one's just another spelling)...but Matthew hasn't seen this list yet! He may cancel them all! I know he doesn't like Brennen, but I still added it. We will need a middle name too...any suggestions? Matthew's middle name is James, maybe we could use that, but it's not quite my style. So, click on the link to vote, then let me know what you think! (and voted for!)http://www.babynames.com/namelist/9488073

Meadow likes Dillan, and Ashlen. So does mommy.

I voted for Dylan and Brennen. Dane could grow on me too! I had to give River and Dustin the thumbs down....sorry. I like Ashlen for a girl.

Dylan Thomas sounds cute...but I know you are not really for traditional names! Cademon is cute? I agree with Helen on River, Dustin, and Ashlen.

With love,

Lisa

Did you know that Dylan Thomas was a famous Welsh poet?? He did;t lead a very healthy lifestyle, so I don't know that you would want to name a son after him!!

I think you should stick to the theme of geographical features for names, so I like Dale Thomas, River James, Rio James, Forrest James, Stone Michael, Garnet James, Glen Thomas ... I really like Rio, Garnet, Forrest, Glen and Dale. Glen and Dale mean almost the same thing as Meadow and Logan. You could consider Swamp Fox Cooke, but I don't think Matthew will let that one fly. Then of course there's always Lot ... AND for a girl, how about Summer Raine Cooke, Summer Sky Cooke, Aspen Breeze Cooke, Lily Ann Cooke, Violet Rain Cooke, Vio Lynne Cooke ...

How about Heath Stone Cooke, or Land Rover Cooke, Raging River Cooke, or Oliver Stone Cooke, Hunter James Cooke, Ivan. For a girl, how about Garden Fern Cooke, or Blossom Ann Cooke, or Christel Rain Cooke, or Olive Cooke ... I'll think through the night and add more tomorrow.

Perhaps I'll name all my children after precious gems or rocks ... Amber, Christel, Topaz, Pearl, Opal, Emerald, Jade, Jasper, Granite, Stone, Rocky, Boulder, Pebble ...
