The Behemoth Arriveth

Here's the step van. Yup, it's BIG! It's super wide too! He'll definitely be noticed!
Meadow was very excited. She loved "driving" it!
This evening we joined the Birds for dinner at Settlers Cove. It was so incredibly warm and beautiful! We even watched a pod of killer whales go by. Our camera stopped working so I couldn't take a picture. The boys had fun eating sand and hot dogs for dinner, and Meadow played in the water.

Name Poll

We still have no boy name for little Spud! I found a naming website with a poll you can vote on, and I put on all the names I sort of liked. Actually the top 4 boy names I really like (one's just another spelling)...but Matthew hasn't seen this list yet! He may cancel them all! I know he doesn't like Brennen, but I still added it. We will need a middle name too...any suggestions? Matthew's middle name is James, maybe we could use that, but it's not quite my style. So, click on the link to vote, then let me know what you think! My Poor Boy!

Saturday night little Logan took a dive out of his crib, head first into a garbage can! When I went in to rescue him, all I could see were two little legs sticking out from amongst the garbage (just papers and stuff)! As you can see, his head bonked something on the way down. Poor little guy! (But it was pretty funny!) He cried for about 2 minutes, then wanted to play, so he was just fine! I'm just beginning to learn about being a mommy to a boy! -Very different from a gentle, cautious girl!

One of the fun things we do outside is color with chalk on the concrete in front of our garage. In just a few weeks, we'll actually have a yard to play in too! And a deck!

Matthew is in California with his dad having a step van driving marathon! So far they've gone about 200 miles. The van is even bigger than Matthew thought! (taller with HUGE wheels). It runs well, but can only go up to 55 mph, and is slow up big hills. The trip might take a little longer than they expected!

New Spud Picture

Yesterday I had my 20 week ultrasound. Spud looks great! He/she (we didn't find out!) was wiggling all over the place so our pictures weren't very good. "He" (just to simplify) had his feet over his head and was grabbing them with his hands! It's pretty amazing to be able to see that! Spud weighs about 1 lb. I still think it's a girl from the heart rates (supposedly girls have faster rates, and it was true of Meadow & Logan). Anyone have any good boy names suggestions just in case? If its a girl, right now we like the name Ashlen Rain. That could change though.

If you're wondering why Matthew would want a HUGE step van, it's for his new construction business, Fine Line Custom Carpentry. He wanted something he could always keep his tools in, where they won't get wet, and be able to stand up in it to do some of the work. It should be very useful! Later he hopes to get a small old truck or something just to get around so he doesn't always have to drive the big one.
Our cars are still up for sale........somebody PLEASE buy them! :)

New News

Since it's been so long since my last post, here's the latest happenings:
Matthew just bought a lovely diesel step van! He got it on eBay for a good price, and will probably be driving it up from California in 2 weeks. The colors match his logo perfectly! He'll just need to paint over the old logo.
My trusty car is up for sale. ($6000, anybody want it??) It's time to get a minivan since I can't fit 3 carseats in my car! I'm ready to have more space to pack in the double stroller and Bingo!
Here's little Logan who is getting very good at pulling himself up and walking holding on to things! Today he even stood by himself for a few seconds! I think he'll be walking in about a month!
