Happy New Year!

Here's Logan and daddy in their matching England soccer (football) shirts!
A Question to generate some comments: What were you doing just as the date turned to 2007?
I was at home while the kids slept, enjoying my last cup of tea of '06, which then became my first cup of tea of '07! (It was decaf!)

Great photo Caren. Maybe Logan will be a soccer player.

I was at the watchnight service.

Happy New Year! We had Ryan and Katie, a couple from our church, over and we watched the seattle news countdown at the space needle on tv and popped some poppers from the dollar store. I also gave my husband a kiss. What a great way to start the new year! :)

Kathy McEwen said: I was on the beach in Guam with Mary & Caplan, at the Hilton Hotel watching huge breakers roll in, in the bright moonlight with a gorgeous view of city lights across the bay--then spectacular fireworks began at midnight. (I love to see your pictures! Happy New Year! :)

By the way, when the New Year came in I was sitting at the computer (doing something important I'm sure) and watching a John Wayne movie. I heard some people shouting and some firecrackers, so I grabbed my camera and took a picture of the clock on my microwave. Now how exciting is that??!!

I was at the CPCC watchnight service with my husband and many dear family/friends. I LOVE that photo of Matthew and Logan, and it was a real kick to see Christy on the Seattle news!

I was comforting a terrified Emilee. The loud noises the neighbors were making scared her. :)
It wasn't till 1:30 before I got her calmed down enough to go back to sleep.
