Amazing Meadow!

Meadow is now officially walking! This month she's taken more and more steps, but on her 15 month birthday at a church potluck she impressed everyone by walking all over! she was so happy to finally be able to follow the other kids around! She can even stand up without holding on to something. What a big girl! At home she does laps around the chair all day.
The other day while we waited at the doctor's she gleefully walked up and down the hall stopping at the different offices saying "HI" to people. It was very cute. I think she inherited her grandma John's friendliness!
Here's some other cute pics- She and daddy at church, and looking at a Shrek DVD, which she thinks is hilarious. She always finds this one and laughs her head off while pointing to Shrek!

It was great to watch her take off at the potluck. She even got back up on her own several times after she had gone down. There is no stopping her now! I think Mr. Teune is interested having her on the cross-country team at school.

Sorry to have missed the event! (not just Meadow's emancipation, but the potluck as well). Meadow is blessed to have such a HUGE loving family surrounding her, just as her mom did ... some of the same folks, come to think of it! Sounds like Chris Cooke and I won't be lacking for exercise while Caren's laid up with Sprog. On another note, Hi Ken!! Is that really you?

Found you, Caren! Congratulations on all counts. I didn't know you were expecting number 2... having two is great! But I'm stopping there...
Drop me a line sometime you bad, bad writer. We'll have to catch up. We must do that every now and then. We'll pass through Ketchikan one of these days. Probably this summer!
