Scenes from Christmas morning. Our annual tradition is to have our parents over for breakfast. Matthew makes delicious croissant sandwiches with eggs and ham and cheese topped with hollandaise sauce. The kids had a lot of fun with their presents!Adventures of the Cooke family.
Here he is! Carson Paul Atteberry was born on Christmas Eve! He weighed 8 lbs. 1 oz, and is 21 inches long! (By the way, I correctly guessed his weight when we did "baby bets", but I got the date wrong.) We went to see them Christmas day. You can see his picture and leave them a comment on the hospital's baby album page.

The wind blew off a section of the metal roof! This first picture shows how it flipped over to the other side! (The white is the underside of the metal.)
Matthew went over to help. First they flipped the metal back over, then covered it with a huge tarp. They worked on it till almost 2AM!
This shows the damage to the inside. Water ran down the walls, completely soaked the floor, and even ran through to the rooms below! They have to (I should say GET to! Thanks to State Farm!) replace the livingroom carpet, and the one in Christy's old room, plus their new Tempur Pedic mattress, which is now like a huge sponge completely soaked!
What a thing to come home to! Christy is here now too.
as an igloo!)
Seattle). We had fun. All the cooking went pretty smoothly, and tasted very good! Sarah and I were the main cooks, and found working it all out with two babies who need nursing and other mommy attentions to be quite a challenge! I decided to start a family tradition this year. I made a Thanksgiving banner which we will add to each year! I had everyone sign it and write
something they are thankful for. Meadow and Logan made handprint turkeys on it and I will add an iron-on transfer of our group photo. As the years go by it will be fun to see who we gathered with and what they wrote! This idea came to me last night so I was up till 2 AM getting it ready! I'll post a picture of it once I get the picture on. Here's a pic of us making it.
We spent the weekend with Christy one last time in Bellevue. Tomorrow she moves in to her new condo in Kent. We had a good time. We went shopping and Matthew got some tools. Matthew and I got to go out on a date again. We ate at the Cheesecake Factory again and had extremely delicious avocado eggrolls. Then we went to see the movie Stranger Than Fiction which was stranger than fiction. Actually it was good. It has Derek Linder's identical twin in it! He's a little smaller than Derek and has different glasses, but if you watch it you'll definitely know who I'm talking about! Anyway we had a nice time. The two pics of Meadow have
words on them. Click on them to enlarge so you can read what that's about. She was just so cute! She loves her new pink cowgirl boots which she picked out herself! She wears them all the time. How did I end up with such a fashionable daughter?!

Not to celebrate Halloween or anything, but recently I was looking through some older photos, and found these creepy old graveyard pictures. The last two have mysterious orbs of light! These orbs aren't in any other photos! My dad took these pictures of an old forgotten graveyard in England. Next to it was a nice graveyard which had the grave of Smith Wiggelsworth.

One of our new favorite places to walk is Ward Lake! Meadow loves looking for signs, and the "broken tree" (the one supposedly hit by lightning, which we are sitting in front of). She runs most of the way! We
haven't tried going all the way around
yet, but I'm sure she could do it! Logan loves being outside too! He babbles and squeals the whole time.
