My parents arrived home from Seattle Thursday night to a very WET house!
The wind blew off a section of the metal roof! This first picture shows how it flipped over to the other side! (The white is the underside of the metal.)
Matthew went over to help. First they flipped the metal back over, then covered it with a huge tarp. They worked on it till almost 2AM!
This shows the damage to the inside. Water ran down the walls, completely soaked the floor, and even ran through to the rooms below! They have to (I should say GET to! Thanks to State Farm!) replace the livingroom carpet, and the one in Christy's old room, plus their new Tempur Pedic mattress, which is now like a huge sponge completely soaked! What a thing to come home to! Christy is here now too.

Wow, what a surprise to find on coming home! Looks like quite a mess. Sorry they had to come home to such a project, but it's nice to know they're back - seems like they were gone a long time this time!
So do we .. and we hope for many MORE fun times to come! This is yet another instance of proof that indeed, "all things work together for good for those who love God and are called according to His purpose".
